Columbus Zoo Philanthrophy Assistant

Position Title: Seasonal Philanthropy Assistant


Description: Position performs basic database operations including editing mailing lists, gift entry, gift acknowledgement and data clean up. Position will assist the Philanthropy team with Donor Club membership renewals, Adopt Program gift fulfillment and fundraising and donor event planning including mailing, preparation, handling donation requests, planning event logistics and day of event preparation.

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in Business Administration, Communication or related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with team members and all outside contacts.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• PC literate -MS Office, Publisher and database management.
• Student must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Subject to BMV check.
• Subject to Criminal Background check.
• Subject to Drug Free Workplace Policy.


Hours: A minimum of 20 hours weekly.

Salary: $9.00/hour

CANVASSING

My name is Shane McClelland and I am the Canvass Director at the Ohio Democratic Party. We currently have several full and part time positions open in our paid canvass operation. These positions are permanent and year round, and excellent for students. The hours are flexible and more importantly the job will help build public speaking and leadership skills. WCMH-TV, NBC affiliate station in search of a Digital Platform Producer; this position requires oversight
of the production, content, and direction of our local newscasts and produces unique content for our
online and mobile platforms. The candidate will be responsible for creating a product that is informative,
compelling, easy to understand, accurate, balanced and to the point This position is responsible for the
generation of unique content for our various digital platforms. This includes, online, mobile and broadcast
platforms. This position is responsible for the creative production of our II pm Monday through Friday
newscast The proper applicant must be a creative, self-starter who is detail oriented. Must be able to
multi-task in a highly collaborative environment. Must understand branding and what it takes to create a
