Broadcast Operations Controller
Media General, Inc. has a Broadcast Operations Controller position open for the NBC Central Broadcasting Hub in Columbus, Ohio. (MG Inc. - WCMH - NBC4) This position is responsible for monitoring multiple station signals with the Florical Automation system. Applicants should have 2 years television and/or network operations experience with strong technical and computer aptitude. Must be comfortable multi-tasking , have good decision making skills based on sound judgment and operational procedures. Effective written and oral communications are essential and must be able to work without direct supervision; also able to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs. Will perform routine equipment maintenance when directed. Automation experience and knowledge of FCC regulations is preferred.
