Producer (Job #100RP): WBNS-FM, Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan, has an excellent opportunity for a highly creative
Producer. The sports producer will be responsible for producing compelling and informative sports talk shows,
developing show content and coordinating the booking of show guests. The sports producer will also produce play by
play sports broadcasts, fill in board operating shifts, or voice radio station commercials on an as needed basis.
Excellent communication and organization skills, extensive knowledge of sports, and previous experience commercial
sports radio experience required. College degree strongly preferred.
Web Producer –Part Time (Job #100WP): 97.1 The Fan has an immediate opening for a sports-oriented Web
Producer to fill a part time role updating and maintaining the content on our websites. The successful candidate will
be responsible for identifying and posting news stories, assisting in the maintenance of social media and twitter pages
for the Fan and its staff, maintaining the Fan Club database, including responses to fans, database maintenance,
execution of updates and alerts; and managing community and comment moderation. This position will require a
flexible work schedule as well the ability to be on call. Minimum 1-2 years experience working with online content in a
fast paced environment and excellent communication and organizational skills required. Working knowledge of sports
and media experience a plus.

Anchor (Job #200AC): WBNS TV, Central Ohio’s news leader is seeking an experienced journalist to fill a lead
Anchor position. This individual will be responsible for anchoring our evening and late evening newscast, conducting
interviews and anchoring breaking news as well as serving as a strong representative of WBNS TV in the community.
This position will also serve as a reporter responsible for in-depth special reports. Successful candidate must have
exceptional anchoring stills, have strong reporting skills and be able to work a flexible schedule. Must have 5-7 years
of previous experience as a News Anchor and should be knowledgeable about Central Ohio.
General Assignment Reporter (Job #200AH): WBNS-TV, 10TV News HD is searching for an aggressive,
enterprising general assignment reporter to join its award winning news department. Enterprise rules, so the ideal
candidate will be able to present ideas for several topical, relevant enterprise stories to the table each day that
deliver viewer benefit. The ideal candidate will have superior writing and storytelling ability, ability to dig deep and
uncover the big stories, and be able to cover and deliver breaking news with accuracy and urgency. 10TV News HD is
the number one news operation in Central Ohio, and this position requires experience, self-motivation that will help
deliver content that will help us remain number one and grow as a news organization. At least 3years experience as a
reporter at a local TV news station required.

photographer who is passionate about storytelling. This photographer needs to be a well organized individual who is
interested in covering a wide range of news and sports events. ONN tells the stories of people from all over the state
so this individual must be willing to travel throughout the state and work flexible hours. Three to five years of
previous news experience and non-linear editing. ONN Photographers shoot on Panasonic P2 and edit using the Grass
Valley Aurora & Edius systems.
Meteorologist (Job #400MT): The Ohio News Network seeks a dynamic meteorologist to join our weather team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and presenting compelling & clear daily weathercasts, excel
in extended severe weather breaking coverage and be responsible for regular franchise reporting. ONN, which has
won numerous awards, including AP Best Weather Operation 2011, provides statewide weather coverage, featuring
Ohio Weather on the 10’s. This position requires a strong weather background, including but not limited to extensive
knowledge of meteorological sciences, proficiency in weather forecasting, solid severe weather experience, excellent
computer skills and the ability to deliver a reliable forecast. At least two years experience as a television
meteorologist as well as previous reporting experience required. CBM seal or desire and ability to acquire seal
strongly preferred. Demonstration of severe weather coverage on resume materials is required.
