We are currently seeking a part time administrative assistant to work Monday through Friday during the midday and late afternoon hours with the possibility of increased hours based on Human Resource department staffing needs. Candidate must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day office tasks including answering phones, distributing faxes and ordering catering for all office meetings.
  • Assist with on boarding duties of new employees.
  • Sort paperwork; prepare office documentation and informational packets.
  • Responsible for general office and conference room upkeep.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Preparation of reports and documents as needed. 
  • Responsible for appropriate record keeping and filing as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

 

Job responsibilities include:

 

  • Day-to-day office tasks including answering phones, delivering mail, distributing faxes and ordering catering for all office meetings.
  • Sort paperwork; prepare office documentation and informational packets.
  • Provide support to the HR team through preparation of new employee binders,  tracking recognition programs and maintenance of employee records
  • Identify potential vendors and manage relationships for all office supplies including kitchen and general office needs.
  • Work with recruiting team to update candidate and employee resumes.
  • Serve as liaison between ICC and property management.
  • Assist accounting team by preparing all company expenses and tracking employee timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate all company travel.
  • Host, set up and tear down internal meetings and events.
  • Responsible for general office and conference room upkeep.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Assist the Communications Manger with marketing efforts as needed.
  • Preparation of reports and documents as needed. 
  • Responsible for appropriate record keeping and filing as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

OHIO MAGAZINE: Part-time Sales Assistant

The Central Ohio office of Ohio Magazine is looking for a part-time advertising sales assistant. Ohio Magazine is Ohio’s premier travel and arts & entertainment magazine.

Some typical office responsibilities will include:

·         Support the daily operations of the office, including greeting visitors, accepting and distributing mail and packages, ordering office supplies and light troubleshooting of computers or printers as needed.

·         Develop and update of promotional and sales materials.

·         Coordinate ongoing and promotional mailings.

·         Assist sales team to enter orders and collect print and website advertisement via email, phone and in-person visits.

·         Represent Ohio Magazine at consumer shows and festivals.

Required skills and experience:

·         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, using the internet, fax, printers and copiers.

·         Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs while maintaining strict deadlines.

·         Good interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.

·         College degree or equivalent office experience.

Preferred skills:

·         Basic knowledge of InDesign and/or Photoshop

·         Previous experience as assistant in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Media.
